Giant pick up sticks can be played in pairs or as a group. Each oversized pick up stick is a different colour. These different colours are numerically valued. Black sticks are valued the highest at 25 points, red at 10 points, blue at 5 points, green 2 points and yellow 1 point. Players in turn attempt to pull out one of the coloured pick up sticks without moving the pile. If the pile moves then the player's turn is forfeited and no points are gained. The player with the highest score at the end of the game is deemed the winner.
